A Nevada resident since 1987, Barry Breslow has been a licensed member of the State Bar of Nevada since age twenty-four. After clerking for United States District Court Judge Howard McKibbon in federal court from 1987 through 1988, Barry began his practice as a commercial litigator in 1988 with the firm.
 
Over the last twenty years, Barry’s civil practice has taken him to all levels of Nevada courts, state and federal, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has tried over twenty cases to decision, and been involved in close to one thousand litigated matters.
 
Barry has previously served as a pro tem Judge in Reno Municipal Court; on the State Bar of Nevada’s Attorney Disciplinary Board; and as a court-appointed arbitrator. He was a member of the American Inns of Court, and frequently serves as local counsel to out-of-state firms in the state and federal courts. Barry has practiced in most of the judicial district courts in the State of Nevada.
 
Barry’s emphasis is on complex business, tort and contract litigation, both on the plaintiff and defense side. He is a member in good standing of the Washoe County Bar Association and the State Bar of Nevada. Barry is married to his wife of nineteen years, and they have two high school-aged children.
