Stefanie Sharp is a fourth generation Nevadan. Ms. Sharp completed her undergraduate work at the University of California at San Diego where she graduated in 1988 with a major in History and dual minors in Political Science and Anthropology. She then attended the University of San Francisco School of Law where she co-authored the 1990/1991 University of San Francisco Law Review, Survey of Non-Profit Case Law, was a member of the McAuliffe Honor Society and graduated cum laude in 1991.
After litigating for ten years in San Francisco, she returned to Reno in 2003 to join her father’s practice where they run the transaction department of Robison, Belaustegui, Sharp & Low.
Her practice focuses on real estate, representation of banks, financial institutions, and mortgage brokers and bankers, including representation in regulatory and licensing matters, as well as commercial transactions and litigation. She was lead counsel for a Geothermal Company sale of existing Geothermal Power Facility to a publically traded Geothermal Power Producer.
Ms. Sharp was admitted to the California Bar in 1992, the Northern District of California in 1997, the Southern, Eastern and Central Districts of California in 2001, and the Nevada and US District Court, District of Nevada in 2003. She is a member of the State Bar of California, State Bar of Nevada, Washoe County Bar Association, and American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Nevada Trial Lawyer’s Association, Commercial Real Estate Woman of Northern Nevada, and the Bruce Thompson Chapter of the Inn’s of Court.
Representative clients include: Harland Financial, Beal Bank Nevada, CAPMark Financial, GMAC Mortgage, Columbus Gold (U.S.) and Columbus Silver (U.S.).
