Mike was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. He graduated from Reno High in 1984 and the University of Nevada-Reno in 1988. After graduating with a degree in economics, he earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of San Francisco. Mike worked as an intern with the Honorable Howard McKibben during his last year of law school. After graduating from University of San Francisco, he clerked in the Second Judicial District Court for the Honorable Connie Steinheimer.

 

The primary focus of his legal career has been in commercial civil litigation, land use and business disputes. He also practices personal injury and family law. He has served as a Pro Tem Settlement Conference Judge in El Dorado County, California and has acted as a Arbitrator in the First, Second and Ninth Judicial District Courts in the State of Nevada for more than ten years.

 

Currently his practice focuses on construction defect matters, commercial litigation and business disputes in both Nevada and California.

 

Mike is married and has two beautiful children. His recreational interests include golf, skiing, and swimming. Mike is active with the State Bar of Nevada and serves on the State Bar CLE Committee. He is also an active member of the Nevada and California bar, as well as the Federal bar in Nevada, California and the Ninth Circuit.
